Instructions - Oatmeal Raisin
You Will Need
For Firm Cookies
150 ml (2/3 cup) softened butter or margarine
For Soft and Chewy Cookies
175 ml (3/4 cup ) softened butter or margarine
1 Egg
5 ml ( 1 tsp ) Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 F ( 180 C ). In a mixing bowl beat butter, egg and vanilla
with an electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add cookie mix and STIR with a mixing
or wooden spoon until all ingredients are well blended and a moist dough is
formed.
Drop by rounded tablespoon 5 cm (2 inches) apart onto lightly buttered cookie
sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown in color. Remove from oven.
Let cookies set on baking sheet for 2 minutes then transfer to rack to cool completely.
* To keep cookies fresh and moist, store in an air-tight container.
